About Stephen O'Dwyer

Stephen O’Dwyer, CNMT, has been helping individuals find significant and often permanent relief for chronic and recurrent musculoskeletal pain since 1990.

After practicing in San Francisco for ten years he returned to his college hometown, Burlington, Vermont to found Neuromuscular Therapy of Vermont where he's practiced since 2000. In 2015 he opened a second location in Norwich, Vermont.

In 2004 he created Lower Back Pain Answers to fill in the gap in alternative information about the root causes of back pain and other chronic pain. For the last several years he has been invited to speak about his work to the first-year medical students at the University of Vermont Medical School as part of their Complementary and Alternative curriculum.

With the shutdown of his private practice due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he turned his full attention toward the development of a new learning platform, Relieving That Pain Online Courses.
